COMMUNITY ORGANIZING IN OTHER EUROPEAN LOCATIONS

The Tuzla Community Foundation has built numerous projects in the

Simin Han neighborhood of Tuzla, which includes many refugees from the 1990’s Balkan civil wars (http://www.yepp-community.org/site/index.php?menuNav=28).  Planning has begun to do a community organizing process in Simin Han and four other Tuzla neighborhoods that will engage community stakeholders (schools, women and retired groups, youth, etc.) in a listening process followed by research and action beginning in the Fall, 2006.
